Feeding Directions
- Keep Mazuri® Guinea Pig Diet available to animals on an ad libitum basis in a self-feeder.
- Avoid feeding product in bowls, as animals are prone to contaminate food by sitting on it while eating.
- If supplementation is desired, it is recommended to offer supplements at 20% of the diet or less (wet weight basis). The choice of supplementation will vary with life stage and animal preference. A veterinarian should be involved with prenatal care.
- Always provide animal with plenty of fresh, clean water.
- The practice of using fresh greens to supply water is optional, but may keep the animals content and acclimated to normal feeding patterns.
